• The Burmese Hair Wash is a treat for all. Pamper yourself with an almost 1 hour hair wash and massage. For those comfortable, request for water in the ears. It’s a memorable experience.
• The ladies with rings on their necks. Today this is in the banned traditions worldwide because many ladies break their necks while sleeping. Naturally a dying tradition and one must see before it becomes extinct.
• The one foot rowing boatmen are only visible in the Inle region. They have races on these boats and it is very difficult and soon becoming a rare sight.
• Rubies are often said to be the most expensive stones. They are the best from Myanmar and for the fondly rich ladies, this is a must.
• 1.2 kilometer teak bridge which was built some 130 years ago. This is the longest use of teak wood and a very rare sight to see.
• The largest book in the world in Stone is seen in Mandalay with more than 700 pages each side carved in stone. Each of them are housed in a small temple like structure of its own.
• 28 Pythons in a pagoda managed by young nuns and you need to walk barefoot amongst them. The ventilators of the room and the center piece Buddha images have pythons resting all over. These pythons come down at dusk to have milk.
• Mangostein is finest fruits and for those who have not had this must make sure to have this in Myanmar. A must have and correctly mentioned as the queen of fruits.
• The countryside is lush green with golden pagodas at almost every 5 kilometers. Each one is different and you will chance upon some monks and nuns walking around.
• The local dress is also amusing for Indians. They wear the lungi and shirt with slippers even when working.
