World’s Largest Reclining Buddha

The Sein Taw Ya Temple features the world’s largest reclining Buddha. Its immense size is striking both inside and out. Inside, the Buddha is surrounded by three floors, each filled with scenes from Buddha's life. While many rooms are still in progress, they are being meticulously worked on by artists. Opposite the current statue, another even larger reclining Buddha is under construction, planned to have eight floors inside.
