Pindaya Caves
Nestled in the heart of a mountain ridge, overlooking a serene lake, the Pindaya Caves are home to over 8,000 Buddha statues, each crafted from various materials. These ancient statues create a peaceful atmosphere, with meditation spots scattered throughout the cave, allowing visitors to reflect in the midst of history.
Many of the statues are centuries old, and you’ll find the names of donors inscribed on several of them, adding a personal touch to the sacred space.
