Pindaya Caves
These caves are set in the middle of a mountain on a ridge overlooking a lake. The caves host more than 8,000 Buddha images (statues) made from various different material. There are meditation places amidst the Buddhas and most of the images are very old. You will also see the donor’s names on many of them.
